Our Story

Athletica Physiotherapy was founded in 2025 with a deep commitment to the power of movement. The journey began with a vision to empower individuals, from everyday movers to elite athletes, to move with confidence and achieve their best performance. Born from a passion for sport, human potential, and evidence-based practice, Athletica was created to fill the gap between traditional rehabilitation and high-performance care. We believe that movement is not only essential for recovery but also key to unlocking strength, energy, and wellbeing in all aspects of life. Guided by a mission to provide personalised, goal-oriented physiotherapy, our focus is on long-term health, sustainable results, and building resilience both physically and mentally. At Athletica, every client is treated like an athlete, with expert care, clear communication, and a shared commitment to progress. This is more than a clinic. It is a place where movement meets purpose.

About

I’m a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist with a strong foundation in sports and musculoskeletal care. My educational background includes a Master of Sports Physiotherapy from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Notre Dame Australia. I also hold a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Physiology, which have given me a deep understanding of human movement and rehabilitation.

My experience spans both national and international high-performance environments. I currently work with the Australian Artistic Swimming Team and recently travelled to Canada and China for the 2025 Artistic Swimming World Cup competitions. In 2023, I was the physiotherapist for the West Coast Fever Reserves, supporting elite netball performance. I’ve also supported Hockey WA teams as a travelling physiotherapist at multiple Australian Hockey Championships.

Clinically, I have a special interest in managing ankle and knee injuries, hip and groin pain, and adolescent athlete rehabilitation. I take a patient-centred approach, combining evidence-based treatment with genuine care to help individuals move better, perform stronger, and recover smarter.

Outside of work, you will find me doing hot mat Pilates, sauna & ice baths or travelling to Bali. I’m passionate about helping people return to the activities they love through personalised and compassionate care
